Mindshade, a female fronted metal band from Holland, has released their first demo. Their step into the female fronted metal scene and it is a good one.

The band consists of 4 members: Nienke Verboom (Vocals), Norbert Veenbrink (Guitar), Jeroen van Noort (Bass) and Barry Scheepers (drums).

Equillibrium, Don't walk astray and In life or death are the three titles on this demo which certainly puts them in the female fronted scene. Even if female fronted isn't your thing you still get some heavy shit out of the demo which makes it worth seeing them live or buying the album. 

Personal favorite would be In life or Death; a song about a girl's choice of going to Hades and leaving her loved one safe and unharme

d or staying and suffer living life without her one true love.

MindShade is going to preform live on the 21st of November 2009, HPC in Den Haag (Holland). On www.mindshade.nl they inform us they will be playing a new setlist including 3 new songs and their ex-guitarist Marco de Groot will be playing with them.
